Favorite book?
The Holy Bible and I've been reading it through each year since I've been saved. In terms of fiction, East of Eden by John Steinbeck is my current all-time favorite. The Wizard of Oz also has a special place in my heart because it's the book that reignited my love of reading.
Favorite Bible verse?
I feel like I'm constantly finding new verses that resonate with me. Some of my favorites are:
even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him. In love he predestined us for adoption to himself as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will, to the praise of his glorious grace, with which he has blessed us in the Beloved.- Ephesians 1:4-6
Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.- Romans 5:3-5
Favorite book of the Bible?
Ephesians was the first book I ever covered in Bible study and I immediately loved it. I also love studying Revelation alongside the Old Testament prophets.
Preferred Bible translation?
My go-to has typically been the CSB, but I've been loving the ESV and NASB. I also adore the AMP because it helps to truly understand each passage.
