About Me

 Welcome to my blog! I post book reviews and discussions on Christian topics. Here's a little bit more about me:

• First and foremost I'm a Christian. Jesus saved me in 2012 and I was baptized that same year. The denomination I most closely align with is Southern Baptist. I don't pretend to understand all of the points of Calvinism or Arminianism at this time, and thus don't consider myself to ascribe to either, but I'm always open to learning more. I do, however, believe the Bible to be the Word of God and follow a literal interpretation. 

• I've been married to my husband Jon since 2016, but we've been together for 2012- a whole decade! in that time, we've lived in five different states, currently residing in central Kentucky. 

• I'm a homemaker, but not necessarily by choice. I have Multiple Sclerosis and am not able to work at this time, but I try to see that as a blessing in disguise. I'm thankful for my husband's career and my ability to take care of him and our home.

• I'm a crazy cat lady. When I met my husband, he had three cats: Lulu, Bailey, and Miss Poops (
  full name is Miss Poops in a Box-yes, that's what he named her).

• Together, we adopted Charmander and Eevee. Recently, a kitten named Rocky adopted us when he showed up at our house one night. After exhausting our options trying to find his owner, he became ours!
